Pave the Way College Consulting

For over 20 years, I’ve had the joy and privilege of helping students discover and present their best selves. I truly love what I do!

• Before founding Pave the Way Consulting, I held roles that deepened my expertise in college and career guidance: Career Programs Director at College of Marin, College & Career Counselor at Marin County high schools, and Pre-College Programs Coordinator at Sonoma State University.

• I hold a Master’s degree in Education and a Certificate in College Counseling from UC Irvine. These credentials, combined with a lifelong passion for mentoring, have shaped my ability to champion students from all walks of life—including those with learning differences and neurodiverse profiles.

• Earlier in my career, I worked as a newspaper reporter, PR specialist, and the owner of a small writing and marketing business, all while raising my young children. That foundation in storytelling and communication continues to inform my approach to helping students craft compelling, authentic college applications.
