About Katheryn

I've been helping students discover and present their best selves for the past 20 years. And I love it!

• Prior to establishing Pave the Way Consulting, I served as Career Programs Director at College of Marin, College & Career Counselor at Marin County high schools, and Pre-College Programs Coordinator at Sonoma State University.

• A masters degree in education and a specialized certificate in College Counseling from UC Irvine helped honed my innate gift as a someone who gains extreme satisfaction from championing those with dreams and aspirations.  

• I assist all types of students, including those with learning differences. 

• Prior to my career in education, I was a newspaper reporter, a PR specialist and owner of a small writing and marketing business while raising young children.
