About Katheryn

I'm excited to be using my skills, knowledge and personal passion to help shape young minds in the realms of college and career success! 

• Prior to establishing Pave the Way Consulting, I served as Career Programs Manager at College of Marin, College & Career Counselor at Marin County high schools,  and Pre-College Programs Coordinator at Sonoma State University.

• With a masters degree in education and a specialized certificate in College Counseling from UC Irvine, I am well trained and deeply committed to guiding students on their transformative academic and career journeys.

• I assist all types of students, including those with learning differences. 

• Prior to my career in education, I was a newspaper reporter, a PR specialist and owner of a small writing and marketing business while raising young children.
